This January, Magatzem d’Ars will premiere La bella i la bèstia at Sala Ars in Barcelona. The opening performance will take place on 24, at 12 p.m., launching a run expected to last several months. The production offers a family-friendly adaptation of the classic tale. When a man enters an apparently abandoned castle and picks a rose from its garden, he angers the Beast who lives there. To save her father, his daughter Bella offers to stay at the castle, where she discovers that the Beast is generous and kind. The story unfolds through music, humour and dance, leading Bella to protect the Beast from a young man who threatens his life.
