At the beginning of August, the multimedia theatre company Insectotropics will be at Stockton International Riverside Festival (SIRF), in the UK, presenting Bouazizi, their second show. Bouazizi is a multimedia performance which revolves around the media and the manipulation of power. The show is based on the story of Mohammed Bouazizi, a Tunisian man who was the spark for the Arab Spring revolution when he set himself on fire. Bouazizi is a punch in the stomach, a brutal and explosive spectacle which should be seen live. A 360° staging is arranged so that the audience must move to see it from all angles.
