Magatzem d’Ars will premiere preview performances of its new production, El sopar dels infidels, on 2 July. The comedy, written by Virginia Sánchez and Albert Pueyo, will run throughout July at Sala Ars in Barcelona. The play begins with what appears to be the perfect dinner party, hosted by Manel at his home, together with his wife, a group of friends and a very special guest: Paula, an alleged tarot reader invited to help uncover a number of hidden secrets. Things take an unexpected turn when it becomes clear that the mysterious guest may actually be a medium capable of summoning spirits.
Directed by Albert Pueyo and produced by Magatzem d’Ars, the production adds to the long-standing trajectory of the Barcelona-based company, which continues to champion original creations and intimate theatre with its own distinctive artistic identity.
