Rocamora Teatre’s director, along with the artists: Mal Pelo, David Espinosa, Urbez + Roland Olbeeter, Marcel·lí Antúnez, BeAnotherLab and Iker Vicente, will talk on his work procedures around the Object Theatre.
Carles Cañellas will speak about the dramaturgies of the shows: Air Mail (1985), in which with a cinematographic narrative he used actors, objects and puppets of different techniques, in micro macro scales; Small Suicides (2000) his recreation of this classic of the Object Theatre, in pure form; and the recently released Identitats (2016) of Dance Theater, in which a marionette takes us into an exciting and surprising dramatic search for its own existence, which evolves under contemporary choreographies, with electronic music, light environments and video backgrounds.
The symposium, organized by IF Barcelona and Institut del Teatre jointly, will be held on 3rd and 4th November 2016 at the Institut del Teatre of Barcelona.
