In the beginning of June, the multimedia theatre company Insectotropics will be working in the recovery of Bouazizi, their second show, that will be presented next August in the UK.
Bouazizi is a multimedia performance which revolves around the media and the manipulation of power. The show is based on the story of Mohammed Bouazizi, a Tunisian man who was the spark for the Arab Spring revolution when he set himself on fire. Bouazizi is a punch in the stomach, a brutal and explosive spectacle which should be seen live. A 360° staging is arranged so that the audience must move to see it from all angles.
On Sunday 4th June, they’ll be doing an open rehearsal at Fabra i Coats (Sant Adrià street 20, Barcelona).
