This 2024, Lazzigags Produccions celebrates twenty-five years of experience in the world of theatre, and it does so with a special gala on November 4, at 8 p.m., at the Teatre Condal in Barcelona. The evening will bring together artists and professionals who have been an essential part of the company over the years, with the aim of sharing an unforgettable and supportive evening. The show will be in Catalan, lasting 95 minutes, and is recommended for audiences aged ten and over. The profits from ticket sales will go to the Fundació del Convent de Santa Clara, led by Sor Lucía Caram, to help children affected by the war in Ukraine. The funds raised will be used to organize theatre activities for these children, providing them with moments of distraction and creativity in the midst of difficulties.
Furthermore, within the 25th anniversary celebrations, a round table on theatre creation in Catalonia entitled ‘Challenges and opportunities in theatre creation’ will be held on 14 October at the Espai Línia (carrer Girona, 52 in Barcelona). The event, which is open to everyone and free of charge, will feature the participation of Andreu Sotorra, theatre critic, and Xavier Torras, composer and musical director of numerous shows. This activity seeks to generate an enriching debate on the present and future of theatre in our territory.
