Lazzigags returns to Madrid’s Teatro Sanpol for a week to perform its musical Tom Sawyer Detective. In 2015, the play won the award for best show for all audiences at the Premios de Teatro Musical, precisely on the same stage where the company is now performing again. The show tells the adventures of the young detective and his friend Huckleberry Finn along the Mississippi. It is a modern and entertaining adaptation of the Mark Twain classic, directed by Miquel Agell with music by Marc Sambola and lyrics by Lidia Linuesa. The play will be performed in January, in school sessions, from the 14th to the 17th; and for the general public, the following day, at 12 noon and 5.30 p.m.; and on the 19th, at 12 noon.
