La Fura dels Baus has an intense month of May during which it will premiere its new show in Málaga. SONS: Ser o no ser is the company’s new immersive theatre creation. This “Furan” version of William Shakespeare’s Hamlet invites a journey between reason and madness, the forces of destiny opposed to chance, the confrontation between good and evil, the doubt between the binomial freedom-responsibility, and life and death. The Bodegueros 38 rehearsal space of the Teatro Cervantes will host the start of the show’s European tour from May 28th to June 1st.
On the other hand, the company also has performances of Carmina Burana from the 9th to the 11th at the Palacio de la Ópera in La Coruña; and from May 20th to June 1st, the play can be seen at the Teatre Tívoli in Barcelona.
In addition, on the 12th, La Fura dels Baus will participate in the Gala Barcelona People in Red at the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC).
