CIATRE will hold the second edition of Fira Terres, the indoor theatre fair of Catalonia, from Wednesday 4 to Sunday 8 February 2026 in the Barcelona municipalities of Granollers, Canovelles, and Les Franqueses del Vallès.
The first edition of this event took place in January 2025 with the aim of creating new opportunities for indoor theatre companies by offering them a platform to showcase their work and connect with other professionals. It is a vital meeting and exchange space for boosting performing arts productions and complements the existing fairs in Catalonia that promote contracting and audience development. Over 170 professionals attended the fair.

The fair will select up to 14 productions aimed at adult audiences and available to tour in 2026 and 2027. Of these, 11 will be by Catalan companies and 3 by companies from other Spanish regions. The selection will also consider factors such as diversity of formats, the company’s track record, ease of staging in theatres, and both financial and technical feasibility.
The fair’s activities, which will bring together professionals and stakeholders from across Catalonia and Spain, will take place within the I Pla d’impuls del teatre de Catalunya 2023-2026. In addition, audiences attending Fira Terres will enjoy 14 high-quality productions at affordable prices.
