Cia. Núria Esquius will present two performances, in January, of its theatrical concert Moments, shown in two different versions depending on the context. The first performance takes place on 3, at the Teatret del Serrallo in Tarragona, featuring the Christmas version Moments de Nadal. The second performance will be held on 24, at the Sala Teatre in Tivissa (Tarragona), presented in its regular version, Moments. Both performances are based on the same concert format, led by a lyrical singer and a jazz pianist who blend their styles to create a journey through songs from musicals, jazz and pop, with original arrangements and a narrative filled with personal stories and anecdotes. In both versions, the show invites audiences to discover curiosities such as the story behind Yesterday, which rock band recorded Amapola on its debut album, or what happened to Andrew Lloyd Webber in relation to the musical Cats. In Moments de Nadal, the programme also includes Christmas carols from Catalonia and beyond, adding new stories connected to the festive season. Both performances are free admission.
