The company Cascai Teatre kicks off February 2026 in Madrid, where it will present Un Tal Shakespeare on February 4, 11, and 18 at the Teatre Sofia. These three performances strengthen the national profile of one of the company’s most emblematic shows, a production that revisits the Shakespearean universe with humor, wit, and a unique stage language that resonates with a wide range of audiences.
Un Tal Shakespeare is a performance that distills the essence of the great characters and conflicts of the English playwright through theatrical play, clowning, and spoken word, combining rigor and irreverence. With a dynamic staging full of complicity, the show has become a clever and entertaining gateway to Shakespeare, appealing both to regular theatergoers and new audiences.
In addition to the Madrid performances, Cascai Teatre maintains an intense schedule throughout February across the country. On February 8, Un Tal Cèsar will be performed in Seva, while on February 21 and 22 the show will arrive at Sala La Planeta in Girona. The same production will also be part of school programs in Tordera on February 26 and 27.
The company’s family-oriented side will take center stage with Juguem?, a show by Cia. Ninnus co-produced by Cascai Teatre, which will be at the Teatre d’Arniches in Alicante on February 8 and 9, with both public and school performances; at the Teatre Ateneu in Tàrrega on February 22; in Cerdanyola on February 24, 25, and 26 as part of a school program; and in Sant Quirze del Vallès on February 28 with two morning performances. Completing the February tour, Un Tal Quixot will be performed on February 20 at Sala La Planeta in Girona as part of the school campaign.
