Fira Terres, the indoor theatre fair for adult audiences, organized by CIATRE, has closed its second edition with very positive results and a clear intention to return next year to the Barcelona municipalities of Granollers, Canovelles, and Les Franqueses del Vallès (Barcelona). The fair was held from February 4 to 8 and brought together 270 theatre professionals, one hundred more than in its first edition, which took place in Girona, Salt, and Bescanó.
The project is thus consolidating itself as a meeting and exchange space for the performing arts sector. Over four days, the ‘Dents de Serra’ space at Roca Umbert hosted all the professional activities of the fair. There were 300 business meetings between companies, programmers, and sector agents, 10 project presentations, a resource bank, and networking meetings. “This volume of meetings reinforces Fira Terres’ role as a useful platform for generating opportunities, partnerships, and future stage projects,” explained Alba Espinasa, coordinator of Fira Terres.
