Choreographer and dancer Sol Picó, together with her company, will undertake an intense tour this March with La Cordero i el seu exèrcit, a stage production that combines dance, ritual and personal empowerment through her distinctive language, where classical ballet and contemporary flamenco merge. The tour will begin on 7 March at Teatro Calderón in Alcoi (Alicante), with a performance at 8 p.m. The show proposes a stage universe that speaks of the end as a beginning, presenting transformation as an act of revelation and vital strength; and it closes the trilogy Soroll, vanitat i alcohol, an artistic project that explores internal and personal apocalypse through a grotesque and kitsch style.
Subsequently, from 13 to 15 March, the production will arrive at the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya in Barcelona, consolidating its presence at one of the country’s most prominent theatrical venues. On 19 March, Sol Picó will also lead the workshop El cos com a camp de batalla at 4 p.m. at Teatre Municipal in Girona. This educational activity invites participants to explore movement as a tool for expression and artistic resistance. The tour will conclude on 21 March in the same city of Girona, with a new performance at 8 p.m. at Teatre Municipal in Girona.
