The Núria Esquius Company will present the staged concert Moments at the Teatre del Casal in Porrera (Tarragona), as part of its local Festa Major. This stage production, which will take place on May 2 and has free admission, combines Núria Esquius’s lyrical performance with piano and musical arrangements by Jorge Varela.
It is a dialogue between various musical genres—musicals, jazz, pop, and others—with original arrangements and a narrative component full of personal stories and anecdotes. During the performance, the audience will discover curiosities such as the story of the song Yesterday, which rock band recorded Amapola on their debut album, or anecdotes about Andrew Lloyd Webber and his famous musical Cats. Moments invites audiences to enjoy music in a fresh and close way, blending vocal performance, piano, and theatrical storytelling.
