This May, Sala B, the new space at Sala Ars Teatre (Barcelona), premieres El sentit de l’existència, a Magatzem d’Ars produccion, intelligent, sharp and ironic play that transforms routine and frustration into a reflection on life and its meaning. Two preview performances are scheduled for Saturday 9 and 16 May. The premiere will take place on Saturday 23 and the show will run until 31 July. All performances are scheduled at 9:20 p.m.
Through two interwoven monologues, full of truth, dark humour and small sharp edges, El sentit de l’existència brings us the story of Jaume and Rosa, a couple who have lived together for more than thirty years. Without direct dialogue, each character reveals their perspective on life, failures and hidden desires, with a contrast between excess and restraint that is both surprising and captivating. An intelligent, sharp and ironic play that transforms routine and frustration into a reflection on life and its meaning.
