La Fura dels Baus will bring the performing arts to the inauguration of the new headquarters of the Col·legi de l’Arquitectura Tècnica de Barcelona (CATEB) on 5 November at 8 pm with Un Regal per la Ciutat, an aerial performance specifically conceived for the occasion.
The performance will transform the building’s new façade, located on Carrer del Bon Pastor in Barcelona, into a stage. Through movement and aerial acrobatics, the company will present a performance that connects the performing arts with architecture and urban space. Created especially for the building’s inauguration, the piece marks another of La Fura dels Baus’ interventions in an architectural setting, with the façade taking centre stage in the experience.
