Milnotes will present Cançó d’amor i de guerra on 19 November at 6 pm at the Auditori de Cornellà de Llobregat in Barcelona province. The production revives a work closely linked to collective identity and Catalan musical heritage, with a story that brings together emotion, resistance and the struggle for freedom.
Set in the Vallespir region during the Napoleonic occupation, Cançó d’amor i de guerra tells the story of a community torn between love and resistance, against a backdrop of conflict and the defence of collective identity. The production reconnects audiences with the country’s cultural roots and celebrates Catalan musical heritage through a story that links personal experiences with historical events and a community’s determination to preserve its freedom.
