Cascai Teatre will begin July with a South American tour of Un Tal Quijote, performing at several venues across Uruguay and Argentina between 4 and 19 July. Another major engagement for the company will take place on 26 July, when Un Tal César will be staged at the Teatro María Luisa in Mérida (Badajoz) as part of the International Classical Theatre Festival. The performance, scheduled for 8:00 p.m., offers a new opportunity to present this distinctive humorous reinterpretation of Julius Caesar to audiences at one of Europe’s most prestigious classical theatre festivals.
The tour will continue on 28 July with another performance of the production at Ca la Pruna–Casa de Cultura in Pals (Girona), as part of the town’s summer cultural programme. With these performances, Cascai Teatre further strengthens its national and international presence through a body of work distinguished by its unique blend of theatre, humour and cultural outreach, underpinned by a highly distinctive artistic identity.
