L’alegria que passa by Dagoll Dagom, a show recently awarded at the Premis Butaca, returns to Barcelona, supported by more than 60,000 spectators. After a long tour in which it has been to 17 towns in Catalonia, Valencia and Mallorca, the company will make its last season at the Teatre Poliorama from December 9 to January 28. Furthermore, on the first weekend, Dagoll Dagom promotes an action with the Plataforma per la Llengua and la Coordinadora d’Associacions per la Llengua Catalana to promote theater in Catalan. Part of the capacity of the performances will be allocated to young people and students of Catalan so that they can attend a theatrical show in the Catalan language.
As for the Premis Butaca, the show has won five awards in the 29th edition that was held on November 20, at a gala held at the Sports Pavilion in Premià de Mar (Barcelona). L’alegria que passa received them in these categories: best musical, best musical composition for Andreu Gallén, best sound space for Jordi Ballbé, and best actress and best actor in musicals for Àngels Gonyalons and Eloi Gómez, respectively.
