This Christmas, Magatzem d’Ars presents the classic El conte de Nadal once again at Sala Ars in Barcelona, a family-friendly stage adaptation based on Charles Dickens’ original story, offering a magical and thoughtful holiday experience for audiences of all ages. Performances run throughout the festive season, with a key show on 13 December at 12 p.m., and a final performance on 30 December at 4.30 p.m. The story follows Ebenezer Scrooge, a bitter and miserly man who refuses to celebrate Christmas and mistreats those around him. On Christmas Eve, however, the spirit of his former partner appears to warn him that he must change his ways. Three spirits -Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Christmas Future- will visit Scrooge and take him on a transformative journey that forces him to reconsider the life he is leading. With a warm, magical tone, the production revisits Dickens’ classic Christmas world while speaking directly to today’s audiences.
