Avui no ploraré by T de Teatre will premiere at the Festival Temporada Alta in Girona on 5 and 6 December, with three nearly sold-out performances reflecting the high level of anticipation: on the 5th at 8 p.m., and on the 6th at 6 p.m. and 8.30 pm. Following the premiere, the show will begin its season run at the Teatre Goya in Barcelona starting on 18 December.
This new comedy by T de Teatre teams up with playwright and director Nelson Valente to offer a “family” evening full of humour and escalating tension, culminating in a meticulously crafted scenic inferno. Three sisters, two brothers-in-law and a friend who has fled a psychiatric clinic gather for a dinner where common sense proves to be greatly overrated. The cast features the four actresses of the company -Mamen Duch, Marta Pérez, Carme Pla and Àgata Roca- once again joined by Albert Ribalta and Jordi Rico. The Catalan adaptation is by Sergi Belbel.
