Spasticity is a monologue by Marc Buxaderas that invites the audience to step into the life of a person with a physical disability. During the performance, Buxaderas shares his daily life in a wheelchair, combining humor and tenderness to portray the small achievements and major challenges that shape his routine—from getting dressed to going to bed. On May 21, the show will be performed at the Albocàsser Penitentiary Centre (Castellón) at 5:15 p.m. In this closed setting, the piece takes on a special intensity: theatre becomes a space for breathing, listening, and shared perspective, where fiction opens cracks in everyday reality and allows for imagining other ways of being and feeling. A few days later, on May 29 at 8:30 p.m., Spasticity will be presented as part of the Visibles Festival at Sala Bululú 2120 in Madrid.
