This summer, Sol Picó Company will take part in two major events with the presentation of two performances in distinctive public spaces. The first will take place on 4 July at the Bilboko Kalealdia Festival in Bilbao, where the company will present Carrer 024. The piece is part of the company’s ongoing work in site-responsive creations for public spaces, an area it has explored throughout its career through performances that foster close interaction with audiences and a direct dialogue with the urban environment.

Later, on 30 July, Sol Picó Company will present Lastre in the gardens of Museu Terra in L’Espluga de Francolí (Tarragona) as part of the Rusc Festival. The work has been conceived specifically to engage with the site in which it is performed. The performance explores the relationship between body, memory and territory, transforming the architecture and landscape into active elements of the dramaturgy.
