Míriam en la boca del lobo, the latest production by creator and director Robert Torres, will premiere on 9 September at the Teatro Albina in La Paz, Bolivia. The show, an international co-production between OSSIO Producciones and the Robert Torres Company, offers a theatrical perspective on a particularly harsh reality: the exploitation and trafficking of women during the Bolivian dictatorship.
Through Míriam’s story, the production explores the violence inflicted upon women in a political and social context marked by repression, while recovering a memory that connects individual experience with collective history.
