Rocamora Teatre has two important engagements this September, with performances in Girona and Tirana (Albania), where it will present different formats centred around the show Identitats.
The first engagement will take place on Wednesday, 9 September, at 8 pm, at the Teatre Municipal in Girona, where the company will once again take part in the show Cabaret d’Arrel, a multidisciplinary production bringing together various artists and disciplines, including circus, contemporary and traditional dance, puppetry, poetry, visual arts and humour. On this occasion, Rocamora Teatre will present a piece featuring the lead marionette from Identitats, as part of this production that combines different performing languages.
The second engagement will take the company to Tirana, the capital of Albania. On Tuesday, 22 September, at 6 pm, Rocamora Teatre will perform the full version of Identitats at the Teatri i Kukullave. The performance forms part of the programme of the International Puppet Theatre Festival Albania – SKANDERBEG, an international event dedicated to the art of puppetry that will bring together companies and creators from around the world.
Identitats is a puppet and string-marionette show that highlights the expressiveness and poetic potential of this theatrical language, one of the specialities that has defined Rocamora Teatre’s artistic career.
