This April, La Baldufa arrives full of activity, combining touring performances, mediation projects, and community initiatives that reaffirm its commitment to the territory and its audiences. The month will begin in the Mariola neighborhood of Lleida, where on April 8th and 9th there will be four performances of Amal —two each day— aimed at both school audiences and the local community, as well as the wider city public. These sessions are part of the project to build a stable live arts program in the neighborhood, while also serving as a warm-up for the Festival Enre9, which will take place in May and combines professional and community activities.
At the same time, La Baldufa continues the tour of its repertoire, with special attention to Fantasmes de guerra, which premiered last October at the Fira Mediterrània de Manresa. During April, the show will visit towns such as Mataró (Barcelona), Manresa (Barcelona), Sort (Lleida), and Alcarràs (Lleida), bringing its dramaturgy about memory and conflict to audiences across different regions.
On April 26th, the company will participate in the Mil Maneres Festival the show Pinocchio in Alcoletge (Lleida), a well-established cultural event in the area, notable for its proximity and community engagement.
On April 27th, 28th, and 29th, La Baldufa will open its venue to host a mediation project linked to Fantasmes de guerra. Several devices created together with the Xarxa Transversal will be facilitated by four mediators, allowing schools and training centers to explore the themes of the show through a participatory and reflective experience.
In addition, the company will participate in the Lleida Puppet Fair, organized by the Centre de Titelles de Lleida, with Fantasmes de guerra, after presenting their show Zeppelin at the Festival de Camp de Gerb (Lleida) on March 28th, also supported by the same center.
