This March has been especially remarkable for Milnotes Teatre, the company from Granollers (Barcelona) that has consolidated its career with three memorable performances and a national recognition that reaffirms its artistic quality.

The highlight of the month was their participation in the first edition of the ZALEA Awards for Spanish Lyric, held at the Teatro Auditorio Tomás Barrera in La Solana (Ciudad Real). There, Milnotes Teatre shone brilliantly, receiving three awards that recognize both their production and their career. The awards honored Best Production for Cançó d’amor i de guerra, Best Costume, and a special recognition for their commitment to promoting zarzuela and lyrical arts. The success of the gala not only highlighted the company’s work but also served to advocate for the future of Spanish lyric, emphasizing the need to give visibility to this cultural heritage.

In addition to the gala, Milnotes Teatre has continued to bring its stage productions to diverse venues and audiences. Their production Cançó d’amor i de guerra is touring theaters across Catalonia, bringing lyrical repertoire to the general public and strengthening their connection with audiences. Other productions, such as La corte de Faraón and La del manojo de rosas, have enriched their program, combining classic and innovative formats that bring zarzuela and lyrical art to a wide variety of stage contexts.
