CIATRE is collaborating in the organisation of the first Paraula compartida professional gathering, a project promoted by Xarxa Alcover that will take place on 29 and 30 June in Barcelona. This initiative is intended to become a space for meeting, reflection and cooperation among the leading stakeholders in the performing arts across the Catalan-speaking territories. The sessions will be held at the SGAE headquarters in Barcelona, in the Ramon Muntaner and Mompou halls, and will bring together playwrights, theatre companies, production companies, venues, programmers, distributors, institutions, professional associations and training centres with the aim of sharing experiences, fostering new connections and exploring future avenues for collaboration.
The gathering forms part of a new phase for Xarxa Alcover, a cultural cooperation platform of which CIATRE is a member, working to strengthen ties between Catalonia, the Valencian Community and the Balearic Islands through Catalan-language performing arts. The initiative will be itinerant in nature and aims to establish a stable network of professional relationships that will help facilitate the circulation of projects, the exchange of knowledge and the creation of new opportunities for cooperation.
