The Can Falguera farmhouse, located in Palau-Solità i Plegamans (Barcelona), will start some of its activities as the International Puppet Museum of Catalonia – Teia Moner (MIT) during this month of September. This project has been launched by the three puppeteers of the Teia Moner company: Teia herself, and by Miquel Espinosa and Cristina Bertran. Its promoters want to turn the space into a dynamic museum, in the Vallès region, dedicated to puppets in all its conceptual breadth, organizing exhibitions, guided tours, workshops, conferences, performances, creation and research residencies, symposiums and meetings, among many other activities. During the month of August, they signed with the City Council an agreement for the transfer of this municipal facility for a period of fifteen years. The official opening of the museum is scheduled for next spring.
